The Advisory Comittee
​This committee is designed specifically for individuals with developmental disabilities—along with a caregiver or parent, if desired. It provides a welcoming space to share personal experiences, offer feedback, exchange advice, and make recommendations on important topics such as legal rights and assistive technology. Most importantly, the committee empowers each member to strengthen their self-advocacy skills and make their voices heard.

The committee will meet virtually via Google Meet every other month, at a day and time chosen to best accommodate all members. Meetings will be facilitated by our CEO, ensuring that every discussion is meaningful, collaborative, and action-oriented.

3DA offers a valuable opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience through its unpaid, 12-weeks internship program, requiring a commitment of 10 hours per week. This program focuses on research and writing in various fields such as history, law, and grants. Roles include Legal Rights, Technology Research, History Research, Journalism and General Research, and Marketing positions.
