University Non-Degree Programs for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities

There are many universities around the country that offer non-degree programs for individuals with developmental disabilities, which is a great opportnity for many. Most of these programs are 2 years long, but some programs offer up to a 4 year experience.
Some universities that offer 2 year non-degree programs for individuals with developmental disabilities include Grand Canyon University and Syracuse University. At least one of these non-degree programs are located in all but one state across the country. Some of these programs are commute only, while other programs offer a full on-campus living experience. These programs can add to lifelong memories for the students that enroll in these programs as well as teach them important skills such as self advocacy, home living, job preparation, and more, as they transition from special education into their adult lives. The cost (and coverage of costs) varies based on the university. 150 of the programs are able to provide financial aid as a Comprehensive Transition Program (CTP).
